A carbon stem has been used on these pole floats for increased strength. The tip of these pole floats are hollow, which makes them incredibly visible even in the lowest light conditions when dotted down, whereas the 2mm diameter will prevent the float from shooting under when receiving line bites from fish when they are feeding around the bait.
